I got the Masterswitch working again yesterday afternoon, and wired it all up last night, I’ll put some pictures up but I still need to make the web interface for it.
My plan is to be able to turn my TV, DVD, PS2, Xbox and both sets of speakers on and off from a web page on my pda
I’m also looking at having Auron (the server that runs my “Chidori/Kaname” system) to remotely turn on the speakers when it needs them (my TDK Tremors) and turn them off again when it is finished. My other speakers are a set of Logitech Z680’s and I love them, THX certified and with a satellite in each corner of the room and a damned subwoofer that I can’t use after 7pm, eheh.

For those that actually read this (there are one or two of you) if you read back into the archives, or followed this since the start, you’ll know that I made this site as a catalogue of interesting information, easier for me to keep a log of what I found interesting or may need to search up on again later.I tried a wiki back before I started this, but I found it too large for what I wanted. Now what I want is larger than a log can provide
I have created a wiki, where I am posting all my “articles” on specific setups and information, I’ll still post information on here, but most of the hardcore articles (well judge as you may) will be wiki-fied, eg my favorite latest one is APC Master Switch SNMP Control as I just got that masterswitch working at home (and the array of them at work)
Sweeet.

You might wonder why i’m posting about a old backdoor, because I acquired an APC Masterswitch AP9212 and didn’t know the password.
Let me sum up my experience so far, If you’re going to play in programming mode, prepare to break something.
I was poking around, and thanks to some recent lack of sleep I typed “14″ instead of “13″ to read the memory for the password. 14 must equate to “Reset EEPROM” since I lost the network connection straight after.
I’ve been trying to recover this, but no luck so far.

Messenger Plus! Live is an addon for Windows Live Messenger, I haven’t tried it yet, but I have been recommended to install it.
Let’s see what it’s like !
UPDATE: woooo, it’s pretty, adds tabbed contact windows at the least, the “contact on deskto” has it’s uses and allows /me emotes to work again. w0000t

I have moved from b2evolution to wordpress.
This has mucked about alot of my setup as there isn’t any good/working b2evo cvs to wordpress converters.
I’m just sick of over 2000 comments advertising crap on my web log.
