My Old Pictures from Japan
Just found this, and I am posting it, because I can.
Insanity in individuals is something rare - but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.

Just found this, and I am posting it, because I can.
I am such an addict of Final Fantasy Games and Movies.
I was addicted when I first touched FFVII, and even more after playing FFVIII.
I was thankfully cured when FFIX was PS2 only, I had no way to test it or see it, so it fell off my radar.
Until.
A friend of mine had bought and was playing FFX on PS2, and the second I saw it I knew my addiction was about to return, I left his house and went straight to EB and bought a PS2 with FFX and FFX-2, to this date they are the only PS2 games I own.
I thought this might help put in context how commited I am that if there was a Final Fantasy game on PSP, I would have it.
Hell, I only bought the PSP for the FFVII:AC UMD … then I was notifed it was pushed back to October release.
Check it out, Heath is a friend of mine from an old job.
He’d a pretty good photographer as well (pretty good is as far as I will go, so as to keep from sounding like I actually know something about photography other than cameras take a very common role in it
)
[Edit: Added a Trackback to his most recent post]
I went and bought Lumines and Untold Legends today, well bought Lumines, pre-ordered Untold Legends.
I read a review on Untold Legends, i cracked up when i read “The thing about Untold Legends, is that about 2 hours into the game, you figure out why it’s an Untold Legend … it’s crap, and not worth telling.”
But the guys at EB convinced me (it wasn’t hard, since I wanted an RPG and it’s the only one …)
And I bought Lumines because I think the guys at PA know their games and if Tycho can recommend it, it’s gotta be … well playable.
So now I have the Lumines box with the game in its caddy …. and the unit is still a week away.
Ugh, and don’t get me started on the Memory Stick DUO … *cough crap cough*
Anyway, i’ve been working and … well playing long this week, so now back to work (little more work to do on a Quickbooks Problem for a client, Quicken Quickbooks is evil under terminal services.)
My Warlock is now LEVEL 50 !!!!
Infernal Here I Come !!!
Multiple Exclaimation Points !!! !!!
(Note: I just started the Fel Essence Quest (Pre-quest for Infernal) .. Recommended 55, DAMMIT)
I have been wanting to try my hand at SOAP between .NET and php (since my xml retreiver works, but I hate the issues I have with latency.
I haven’t found anything concrete, but i’m sure some of the modules I have included in the project have memory leaks, which by now I thought .NET was like delphi and it was *hard* to create any kind of dodgy leaks.
Anyway, i’m linking this more for my own records, but hey, if anyone actually reads this site … i’ll probably fall over.
I have always had a hate / dislike relationship with javascript.
I have never considered it reliable enough to use in websites, different browsers baulk at different things.
To my point, The company website I am working on at the moment needs a collapsing side structure, for the first time in a long time I used javascript with a style defined on each block with “display:none”, Mistake Number 1.
The other day I was viewing my test site remotely and i decided, lets try this out on my Pocket PC, i wonder what kind of javascript support it has !.
None.
So I got bored and basically set all the sidebars to “display:block” and then in an onload script (the .js file is generated by php) it closes the unused ones.
So in a Pocket PC Internet Explorer, it shows the menus fully deployed, in Firefox / PC IE it collapses the unused (deselected) menus.
HUZAAH !
I pre-ordered a PSP a while back now, and every day waiting is torture.
I don’t actually have any games for it, nor have I pre-ordered any, but just the technology of the device is haunting me.
And is it just me or is the sony “register your psp” site pretty crap.
The news pages were BLANK for me, i’d expect better of sony, even if there is no content, at least a “Release Date” or something more useful than bloated flash.
EDIT: By Blank, I mean it had no information, it was just a shell, not <html><head></head></html>
I digress.
Anyway, I’m still tossing up a pre-order on Lumines or Wipeout Pure, i don’t like tetris games (well not $80 tetris games), and i’m not that partial to driving games.
But still they are options.
what I would buy without hesitating would be ANY final fantasy game for the psp, since the only things i’ve bought are the PSP and FFVII:AC on UMD.
I sure hope the PSP has video out, that screen is going to suck for a true FFVII:AC Experience.
I might have to buy the DVD as well.
The guild that Darg and Hellgore are a part of in WoW (On Cenarion Circle) is “Revenant Slayers”, I’m currently in “Blood of the Iron Fist”.
Anyway, We just registered the domain name and i’ve set it up on Tidus, as of this moment, it is STILL unregistered, and only in the records of our domain registrar.
…
I registered this at least 10 hours ago, that’s pretty slow for the speed we usually get.
Anyway
I’m buggered, G’Night
If i get bored tomorrow, I might upload a screenshot of my sidebar i use in mozilla.
It basically monitors the connection speeds at the routers and the disk space / disk temperature
on my file server.
it has world time, but that was because when I first made it I was working in a company that had divisions around the world, and I needed a quick reference while I was learning the time zone differences off-by-heart.
